twisted-landscape

I recently taught a workshop on the toner transfer process. If you missed it–which all but four people in the world did–you should sign up for the next one starting in April. I promise you will walk away with art you will love forever, even if you don’t consider yourself an artist. And, as an added bonus, I might even throw in some resin.

Opening Reception: Saturday, February 10

Tuesday, February 6th, 2007

I’m pretty excited for the opening of LA’s Insurgents at Salon Oblique. Artists featured in the exhibition include Adam Gray, C. Finley, Chorroth Garcia, Courtney Oquist, John Faulkner, Juergen Nogai, Kevan Jenson, Peter Walberg, Robert LaFleur, and Matt Wedel. I have three pieces in the show (including this one to the left). Salon Oblique is planning quite the shindig, complete with a chocolate fountain! R.S.V.P. if you want to come. The reception is from 6-9 p.m.
Hope to see you there!

cards

These ivory-colored cards are made from acid-free card stock, and measure 4 x 5 1/2 inches. I have many different designs, and each one is an original toner transfer print. Blank cards for your personal greeting with matching ivory envelope. See for yourself!

Added to Artnet

Thursday, February 1st, 2007

Some new things have been happening: Salon Oblique added the artists for their upcoming show onto Artnet. Check out my little page here!

Also, all my graduate school portfolios have been mailed and received, so that is a huge weight off my chest! Now, we must wait…

purse

Because of this I actually had a day off(!) that didn’t consist of laundry or errands, and I sat down at the sewing machine and made many cute little accessories, including this here purse. Someone at Trader Joe’s said it’s a pretty crazy-looking purse. Yea, I think that sums it up…I think I was storing a lot of sewing energy. Anyways, it came out.

Also, keep your eyes out for jewelry designer Windy Grant’s website and business cards, which will feature this painting to the right. I’ll link to her as soon as the site is ready.
