It always is a bit of a relief to finish works. One chapter ends, and then the next one begins. One can only hope that the next chapter includes some sort of vacation, or even just a margarita. Or better yet, a margarita on vacation!

So hop over to Gallery One and see some new works. This detail to the left is of “Where Love Resides“, (yes, sort of a reference to How to Make an American Quilt for you chickflick lovers out there). It’s sort of a diorama I just learned today, a painted scene that is slightly 3-dimensional. The subject is the elusive nature of love, and when it rains, it pours.

The other one I added is “Rain Notes“. A sweet, sorrowful piece about song.
