This weekend is a busy one! First up we have our finished piece for The Hive Gallery titled “Once Upon A Dream”. This opening you get to don your pj’s and I might have a vintage nightgown or two that could very well make their way into the public eye. See you there Saturday night sometime between 7 and midnight!

Secondly, and definitely not last even though the title suggests that type of order, is “At Last”. I chose the title after Etta’s lovely rendition of the song of the same name and I just really love that image of having something you always wanted…at last. Yet the painting isn’t really about having that thing, but more like have everything you need to have the thing, but the thing isn’t there to have. Hmmm…maybe you can find out more at the opening! Oh, and it is a one-night-only engagement, so if you want to see this baby in person, you gotta come then!
