Another Day

This painting, titled “Another Day” (after favorite Ignite song), was just completed for the annual art auction for Cal State Long Beach’s University Art Museum (UAM). The event will take place at V2O the Venue in Long Beach on September 15 and should be a pretty fun event! There will be a digital robotic opera, an art auction, food, and more. And you can bid on the works online too! I’ll let you know when it’s up.

So for the last week or so since I posted last, I have been working a ton, and househunting, getting ready for my move to Riverside where I will be starting my Graduate program at UC Riverside. A lot of changes are in the forecast, and I am at the same time excited and bewildered and curious and wilted like a flower on a hot Riverside day. I am hoping everything falls into place. And I’m hoping things couldn’t fall any other way.

Mirabelle (me no scare) hits the streets

Tuesday, July 3rd, 2007

Well, hits the Hive Gallery anyway. Do come say hello this Saturday night if not to me but to Mirabelle. She’s pink, she’s purty, and she needs friends. The second part of the title has actually been recently added, when my friend Ramona decided to read one of her clouds and discovered the aforementioned “me no scare.” It hits the spot and makes me smile. Mirabelle is some lady.

Have a safe 4th! I know we’re free from the English and all, but that’s no excuse for drunken debauchery! Remember, me no scare!

The opening at the Hive starts at 8 p.m. See you there!
