Owls and Deers and Eyes…oh my

My kids classes are in full swing (Riverside and Huntington Beach) and now that it’s getting closer to Halloween, I thought I’d share some owls from the summer art program at the Huntington Beach Art Center.
Speaking of the HBAC, this Sunday, October 21 is
Family Arts Day, where I will have a tent for making “Eye of God” yarn weavings. They are fun to make and parents like them as much as, or sometimes more than the kids! There will be lots of other arts booths and everything is free, so come and check it out if you’re in the area!
I am getting situated in my new city, my new house and my new status as a Grad student(!). I have an art studio too! Needless to say, I am moving and nesting and dreaming about hammers and nails and ghosts (thanks to October being a month where horror movies are inescapable). Slowly but surely, I am settling into all my new places. Rome wasn’t built in a day (I keep reminding myself).
