Some days Google alerts are very exciting. Days like today!

Today brought me a review in the LA Times of the show currently on view at La Mano Press, titled Love*Life*Lust. I have a few pieces in the show, and excitingly my name was mentioned in the article.

So yes, today, Google alerts is the greatest, bestest friend.

I recently posted a bunch of really old paintings spanning from when I started making art to somewhere around undergraduate school. There is a lot more in my garage that needs to be photographed, but it’s a start! I apologize if some of the photos are bad, I also scanned some really old photographs of paintings that have found another home.

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Lovers Day. Also, if you’re in the mood for Love, this weekend is the opening of the Love*Life*Lust show at La Mano Press. It opens this Saturday night from 7-10 p.m. Hope to see you there!

I finally got to starting a new image gallery for the new year’s worth of work. So far, just some works on paper have made it in. But rest assured, there’s a colony of paintings making their way there soon.
