I’m in love with this drink!
Tuesday, September 23rd, 2008My friend Christine made me this lime syrup drink and there’s seriously no turning back. I keep thinking about different ways to tweak the recipe. I think next I am going to add a green tea bag into the water when I’m warming it up before adding the sugar. A little caffeine never hurt anyone. And then there’s also trying different citrus. Or kiwi. The possibilities are endless and I’m totally suffering from a sugar high right now. I think I have had two of these already!
Well for this recipe anyway, please check it out at ArtistsCookbook.

Kid’s Art Classes Start with a Roar!
Thursday, September 18th, 2008These are the first drawings from my “Drawing for Little Tots” art classes that have started up again at the Huntington Beach Art Center. The students are only ages 4-6 can you believe it! They are amazing little artists! We colored them too, but I didn’t snap up a photo of them finished.
I chose the lion because I haven’t done that yet with the kids. And so many of them end up repeating my class I have to constantly think about what’s next. Ever since I saw that Christian the Lion video on YouTube, I thought a lion had to be next. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, check it out here. Lion hugs are probably the best. Oh, well next to Brian’s of course.
The next 6-week class starts October 22, so sign your kids up or be square!
