Upcoming Show at RAM

Tuesday, March 31st, 2009

Opening April 11 is our first and second year Graduate Student MFA Show at the Riverside Art Museum. The actual opening reception day and night (April 25) is going to be a busy one: we have Open Studios from 2-6, then our opening 6-8 and the graduating students have their opening at the Sweeney Art Gallery.  Then there’s the after party.  And then the after after party.  Or at least there should be.  I hope you can make it to all the art festivities.  We’re even having Indian food catered at the Sweeney opening.  Yum!

I just added three new prints in the shop!  And I have a bunch more that are on their way…I hope everyone is enjoying the first weekend of spring.  I’m now catching up on all the things I never get to do….like laundry, taxes, fafsa, sweeping, and prints!

Busy Bizy

Friday, March 6th, 2009

Eh, life is passing me by a little I’ve been so scheduled and appointmented.  I have been working here and there in the studio though and I thought it would be fun to do one of those composite photos of the space to get an idea of the kind of chaos I am in the midst of.  I have a lot of things I am trying to figure out in my art practice and trying some new things, so hopefully I will get some photos of those soon.  Also, I have some new prints to add to the Etsy shop….as soon as I can scan them and get them ready.  First I have a term paper that is calling my name.
