Art is an individual expression. I teach techniques, proper brush handling, color mixing, the various rules of art and design. But, so many of the great artists also broke those rules. It's important to have the information, understand the history, learn about what makes a good image, but also be able to question those principals. Art is a process. The flexibility of art is what I love about it.
